Hawker-stall set up on Stanley’s waterfront promenade, between the ocean and a shopping district. The stall is filled with marine litter and other natural objects: lighters, plastic bottles, driftwood, toothbrushes and shells all retrieved from a single beach in Hong Kong during one beach-clean. Each of the found objects is labeled with a price tag, which does not state a number in dollars but concepts like ‘awareness’ or ‘responsibility’. These objects are exchanged for a feed-back of the visitor about their experience.
‘Lost’n’found is an intervention to the ordinary shopping experience questions values in our current consumerist society.
